Summary:
Arkwin is looking for a stock room clerk that ensures that inventory arrives on time, is undamaged, and is allocated to the proper areas. They keep thorough records of items shipped or received and track inventory changes in supply or demand.
KEY ACTIVITIES
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock items, ensuring proper storage, organization, and labeling.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to avoid shortages.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.
- Fulfill internal orders by accurately picking items from stock and preparing them for shipment or distribution.
- Enter inventory data into computer systems or databases to maintain accurate records.
- Ensure the stockroom is organized, clean, and adheres to safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill stock requests and resolve inventory-related issues.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, discrepancies, and stock movements as required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to inventory management and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar setting.
- Proficiency in inventory tracking software or systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counts and data entry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
